The Kelasa Slack app brings the assistant — with the same capabilities and the same guardrails — into Slack DMs.

Install

A workspace admin installs the app from Settings → Slack in the Kelasa web app, approving the standard Slack consent screen. One install covers the whole Slack workspace. Kelasa needs to know which Kelasa user is behind a Slack message before it acts on their behalf. Identities are matched through your verified Slack email: if it matches your Kelasa account in the installing workspace, you’re linked automatically the first time you DM the assistant. Everything you do in Slack runs as you — with your role and your workspace’s policies, exactly as in the web app.

Talk to the assistant

DM the Kelasa app the way you’d use Chat on the web: ask questions grounded in your knowledge bases, run workflows and skills, act in connected tools. Conversations are threaded, and the same thread keeps its context.

Confirm and approve from Slack

When an action has side effects, the assistant posts a confirm-run card into the DM showing exactly what it’s about to do — approve with a button tap (or a typed yes/no). Pending workflow approvals can also reach you as Slack cards, so an approval doesn’t wait for someone to open the web app.
The assistant works in direct messages — it doesn’t read your channels.
